Hi, I'm exploring the 30 day trial and working thru the tutorials.

1)I downloaded Fusion 360. It seems I can't access the software when I'm offline with no internet connection. Is this normal?

2)I see there is Fusion360 gallery of projects. What exactly is this? Is this a place to share components that I model and that others have already modeled?

The best option to get some basic understanding is really to start with the tutorials in the Support and Learning section.

You will certainly have questions afterwards, but you'l have a much better understanding of Fusions 360's abilities and can ask more pointed questions.

To answer you first question: Fusion 360 stores all data and models in the cloud and works bas when it is continually connected to the internet. You can work for a period of time (few weeks) offline, but after a while you need to get back online and all the data that has been cached locally will then synched to the cloud.
