best to just delete the fillets unless they were created as sketch circles in the first place. I would just go back to the sketch and edit it and it should update. Then place fillets on the corners. Hope this helps.

Yes, that would be the logical next move, unfortunately, have been unable to delete them with out similar errors.

Re-creating this would be a simple task as I have the sketch it was extruded from but it seems there may be something to learn here

first.

Thanks

Yah I see you made no mistakes. But approach to sketching is like a taboo.
I think you learn how these programs like to behave over the years and
their are always 50 shades of grey on everything. Best to make all your
fillets in the end as a final step. This will save a lot of headaches and
gives you more freedom in the end to even come up with different ideas.
Best to you..

"Yah I see you made no mistakes."

Must have made at least one :), or were you being lightly sarcastic ?

No I was being sincere. You made none. The program decided on it's own to not comply. Because it was made from a sketch circle it constrained the final shape you extruded. Did you go back and just fix the sketch? Remember to always ask questions even if you don't think their important. I had waaaay tooo many frustrations in the early days with the program. But now I'm impressed with what the Fusion teams have accomplished.  To me it's like learning a new way of logical approach in a design program..

Good, thought I may have unintentionally said something that provoked a negative response.

That fillet was created not with an extruded sketch but the fillet command.

For the heck of it I just re-created the body and press/pull does effect the fillet now with no errors but does not extend the ears while maintaining the same fillet as I was needing.

I can adjust the sketch to accommodate and re-fillet easy enough, It pulls the squared ends no problem and wait till last as you suggested to fillet, something must have went south that is causing the errors.

I agree, Fusion 360 is remarkable, endlessly amazing me and frustrating me equally LOL, I've years in another CAD/CAM  a non parametric and it's been a battle unlearning in order to use Fusion.

Thanks again.
