Need to Split or Divide Body--part attached-Please Help

Now I need to split or divide this body on the XY plane.   I can't for nothing get that done.  Could someone please tell me how?  Thanks

On my illustration you can see that main tab on top ribbon says MODEL, is it says same, on yours?
