Need to make post holes to mount something inside a box

Howdy,

I am trying to make a box that holds a circuit board inside it and has screw holes for mounting a lid. I have the screw holes for mounting the lid just fine, the problem is I need to lower the mounting holes to the bottom of the box. Attached is a screenshot. I need to lower the interior ones to the bottom so I can mount the board to those lowered holes and close the lid without crushing anything. I am brand new to fusion 360, so any advice you give me I will need to have explained fully, please.

Thanks for any and all help

Start by deleting all of the threads. Then delete the posts that are too high. Then make a sketch on the floor of the box for your posts and then extrude up the amount that you need.

Use the Extrude or the Press/Pull command to move the top face of the posts.

As @TheCADWhisperer says, attach your file to the thread for more comprehensive help.

I think I have found some way to get it working. I am basically making them the same height as the other ones and then using the press/pull command to shorten them to the height I need. Thanks everyone for the help
