Need to know how to join Form body to extruded body

I'm trying to join these two bodies. The top of the "bell" to the bottom of the decagon extrusion. What tools will get me there the fastest? Is there a way to form a complete seal along the irregularly contoured bottom? I looked for a video on anything close to this and couldn't seem to find anything.

Not clear instructions, but a female solid body has the male Combine > Cut from it.

Famela con be extruded to match the face of the bell.

You can't join a solid body to a surface body, unless you convert the surface body to solid with Thicken Command.

Okay, I think that's what I wasn't getting. I'm really new on form bodies and didn't realize it's basically a surface (no depth). Good to know that I can extrude to the form body though.
