Need help with fillets for a custom thread

Im trying to create a custom thread and have problems with the final fillets. I've attached to versions of the design. In the first export the fillet worked for the upper side of the thread but not for the other:

In my 2nd try I've created the fillet in the sketch and it worked out fine, but now I'm not able to create fillets for the side.

The question is, if I'm doing something wrong for this custom thread? Is there a better way?

Here's an example using sweep with a twist. The problems you're seeing comes down to a couple of things. One you need to use the edge of the coil as a path, the projection is not accurate. The thread profile needs to be drawn using plane along path, yours is vertical not perpendicular with the helix.

You might be able to modify my example, take a look in properties.

@lichtzeichenanlage Mark's advise is spot on (as usual!).

It is also easy to see in your screenshots. When you get these multi segmented surfaces, that is almost always going to cause trouble.

Thx for pushing me into the right direction. My solution is just over complicated. Somehow I was somehow not able to ignore the useless steps. Stuck in the middle of nowhere. As I saw your solution, I just thought: OUCH - Stupid me!
