Need Help with Closing Holes on my Model

Hello, I have a problem. I want to close the holes on my model so that there are normal surfaces so that the shape of the model is retained but the holes are closed.

@Niko018_

The problem is that there are no "normal surfaces defining the shape of the model" in the geometry.

All you have is straight lines and faceted triangular planar surfaces.  No curves.  Not even one.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Maybe somebody can do something with it.

First of all, thanks. I'm not very familiar with the program, but I cut out the model components the way I needed them. Now I just need the "base model" to continue working with it. And for that, I'd have to close the doors and other things as well.

Fusion is completely the wrong software to achieve what you are looking for!

Continued modeling work on this particular triangulated mesh model is better done in Blender, which works with mesh/polygon models natively. It'll be a lot of work!

The model contains an enormous amount (4353!) of duplicate vertices!

Ok, can you tell me what to do next or send me a yt video so I can continue working on my project. That would really help me

Can you post the original, unmodified model, or was the .stl file you share all you have?

I've taken a closer look at the mesh and I believe this is futile. There is so much more that would have to be fixed on this mesh beyond "filling holes" .

I am not aware of any videos specifically aimed at fixing such things, but there is an enormous amount of Blender tutorials on YouTube covering every aspect of it.

Also, I am convinced you'll find a better, more complete model of this helicopter online.

Ok thanks, I have a complete version of the helicopter but I cutted out the things I need separate. My problem is that I need the sides smooth and plain. And tha is why I need so close the side holes and the top.

And why did you not share that complete model?

First of all, because the original model is much too small and I adjusted it to the right size. And because I need exactly what I sent only with closed pages.

Let me be clear. Unless you share the original model, my help stops here!

Oh Boy!

I've created a screencast using the model you originally posted. I stand by what I said: you are better off finding a better model of the same object than trying to fix this triangulated garbage. However, if you must use this model, the video provides a brief outline of what it entails.
