Need help with a extruding problem!

I'm new to Fusion 360 and really need some help. My boss kind of just tells me to go learn a program and as soon as I show I can make a simple thing in it he starts giving me projects. I'm trying to extrude only the outline of the diagram, not the inner slots. That way it would look like threads. But right now anytime I try to extrude the diagram it extrudes the middle as well. If anyone could tell me what's wrong with it I'd be very appreciative.

Hi Amanda,

When hoovering the cursor over the correct profile, click and hold the left mouse button until a small menu pops up. The menu will show a list of multiple profiles; hoover the mouse over a few items in the list and you'll see them highlighted in the model. Select the profile that fits your needs.

Ok! Then pretty simple, the only one problem you have in your file is that all your sketchs are displayed. And because they are displayed you can't select profile that are under those sketch. You just have to turn of all your sketch display and then edit your Extrude feature and then select the profile you want 🙂 In fact, thoses displayed sketch are above your profil and prevent you to select it ! Hope it help 😉
