Multiple link assembly with joints does not move

I built this multiple link assembly and can't figure out why it doesn't move.  If I suppress some of the joints the individual joints move as expected.  If I suppress The upper joint the bottom two joints move but I noticed the 2nd link from the top moves sideways but does not rotate which makes we wonder if that part is not free to rotate and could be what is preventing the whole assembly from moving as expected.  The top part has an linear joint - it is to move up and down only.  Bottom piece is grounded.  When the lever is moved the top piece should move up and down.

The one possible motion of this assembly can be achieved by changing the Motion of the Slider Joint to a X direction.  Model attached.

Doh!  The angle I was viewing it at seemed like the motion of the slider was in the right axis but in looking at it carefully I can see that it isn't.  Should have looked at it from several angles.  Thanks!
