Hei

 

Is there any wapy of making a custom stock in Fusion 360 that is made up of multiple colors? I will give you this as an example https://www.cwp-usa.com/collections/spectraply-panel-10x35/products/spectraply-panels-confetti

 

I want to be able to see how will the product look like in CAM after the manufacturing process.

 

I appreciate any help

You've probably figured out by now that monkeying with the appearances won't get you the layered plywood effect.  There is an appearance called wood(solid)  that gives a 3d solid wood effect which is the right idea.  It's a 3d appearance, so you get endgrain etc.  you need the same type thing but with layers instead of concentric circles.  Seems that it would be possible for AD to create, but I haven't seen a way for the user to do it. (maybe someone who messes with the API can, Idk)

you can fake it by layering up bodies.  it's a little tricky to get the order of operations right so it will work.  each layer ends up being a seperate body, so a little unwieldy.  see attached example model-
