Move tool, how to select mid point of the circle(after jan update)

Hi all, I am struggling to use move command after January 2017 update,  I need to choose mid point of the bolt, but I can not do this any more....

Before update, I could just move my cursor to the edge of circle and then pressing on CTRL  I could choose middle or any other point.

Please help!

Hi @Anonymous

we really sorry about missing functionality in the Move command we have unintentionally introduced it in the last update.

It's discussed in many other threads for instance here: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/point-to-point-move-of-round-component/m-p/6820132#M93088

We are working on the fix which will be in the next update.

Apologize again

Regards,

Josef

@Anonymous, at the moment you can use align. It's not perfect but that's what you can do for now.

@josef.kucera any idea when is this next update you're talking about? If it's going to be in a month time, I would suggest to temporarily roll back the Move update if possible.

Try moving the Move/Copy dialog box so there are no selectable points between the center of the circle and the dialog.  After clicking on the circumference of the circle, the center should remain selected as long as you don't move the cursor outside of the circle.

Using the Aline tool to stick a bolt in a hole, It works fine for that.
