Hi,

You can double-click it from the time line and cancel the selection from the dialog box, then insert the new selection where you want the hole to be

About moving a geometry to a specific location, I guess the best way to do so is by using the point to point movement

i tried that but there is no point to move to. and i cant find a place to enter a value to move to. double click on the hole will only allow to adjust the diameter

If the hole is made using the Hole command in the create menu, it will allow you to change the selection of where the hole is

Is there a specific point that you want the hole to snap to?

Move the timeline to before you made the hole and Put in sketch points where you wont the holes to be then move the timeline in front of the hole and edit the hole and move them to the sketch points. Then move the timeline in front of the threads and edite them if they need it.

One easy way to move a hole feature is to:

  1. Create a sketch on the face where you want the hole.
  2. Locate a point at the new desired position (Use parameters to precisely locate it).
  3. Close the sketch.
  4. Select all of the faces in the hole (There may be several if you made a counterbored hole).
  5. In the Move/Copy dialog, select point to point icon.
  6. Select the center point of the existing hole and the new point in the sketch.

To extend what @daniel_lyall shows, when you use parameter or dimensions to locate the hole, you can just edit those parameters or dimensions to move the hole.
