Move/copy component to allign with other component

I would like to move the bottom part up to the top of the vertical part so that the upper face of the moved part are colinear with the upper face of the vertical component. How can that be done?

I found one solution, but maybe someone has got a better one.

I made a point on each body/component and choose move - point to point.Skjermbilde 2020-05-07 13.43.02.png

The align tool is probably the best thing to use

Hey reidhardr,
This forum is for discussions about Fusion 360's collaboration tools. I'm moving this post to the Design Document Validate forum where it'll be more likely to be useful to others. Glad you figured it out!

the primary problem with both of those solutions is they won't be parametric.  you'll have to do it again if you make changes to your sketch dims.

here is a screen cast with 2 methods, one using pattern, and one using joints.  either one of these will update if you change your sketch values.
