move/copy command taking me out of sketch mode

Hi, so there's an issue that's been bugging me for ages.

When I'm in Sketch mode and I use the Move/Copy command, fusion intermittently takes me out of sketch mode.

what happens is i'm in Sketch mode, I hit 'm' on the Keyboard, the 'move object' drop down will be set to 'bodies', I change that to 'sketch' and then all of a sudden it just switches me to Solid mode, at which point I can't perform move/copy commands on the sketch as I'm no longer in sketch mode.

I'd say this happens about 50% of the time, and the only way I can find to get around it is to draw a sacrificial sketch, then perform a move command on it whilst out of sketch mode, by hitting 'ok' on the command, it will cue up 'sketch' in the 'move object' drop down, at which point I'm able to use move/copy as you'd expect. This works but it's a massive pain and it slows me down significantly over a whole design.

Is this something I can fix with a setting or is it just one of the million bugs in fusion that I have to just live with?

cheers

Josh

Hi,

try this:

Thanks Guenther, that seems to work, when i open the move/copy command via right-click it works, when I use the Keyboard shortcut it doesn't. This kind of stuff happens with fusion all the time, I wish instead of constantly redesigning and changing layout, they'd just use that time to fix all these little bugs.

thanks again
