move components from a sheet to another

good morning everyone,
I am preparing A0 drawings with sketches of the individual components of the project. Is there a way to move or copy elements on one sheet to another or do I have to re-insert them again?

Thank you

Andrea

Hi Andrea,

Unfortunately, this is not possible today. This is a functionality on the roadmap for the drawings in Fusion 360, but we still don't have a date for it.

By the way, since you wrote you're preparing the drawings, maybe you should consider the option for creating the templates for your drawings, where the component views will be inserted automatically, based on the "placeholders" you have created in the templates.

You can find more details for doing that in this presentation.

I hope you can find it useful.

Thank you Alessandro. I am not sure that templates can be used to add elements to sheets already created.

Do you know this?

Thanks Andrea

Hi Andrea,

I didn't mean that. Sorry for being unclear.

But, if you have to create new drawings where you want the views of each component of an assembly, in a separate sheet, you can preset this in the template, so that when you create the drawing of the assembly selecting the template, the sheets will be created automatically, and each one will contain the view(s) of one component of the assembly.

I hope I've clarified what I meant.
