Move box bug

The move box that contains all of the tools parameters has started popping up much smaller with a scroll bar; it’s becoming a real pain.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting! I'm not very sure what issue you are seeing. Would you be able to record a screencast of the issue? Also, is that happening in any design or only in a specific design? If that is a design specific issue, could you share a public link to the design with me?

I personally know from experience that it is easy to over look the obvious Smiley Happy

Have you resized it to the size you want?

Lower right corner of the box, mouse over it and a diaganol arrow will appear, hold left mouse button while you drag, the size will stick between CAD/CAM sessions also, or should.

Hi Ben,

Thank you so much! Now I understand the issue but I'm not able to reproduce it in my environment. I'll try to investigate this a little bit further and report it to the development team.

Thank you for reporting the issue!

Hi Masanobu,

it looks like you are on top of this but I would like to add that it does not happen all the time and when it does happen the box cannot be resized.

I have to cancel the operation and then select the object again and hopefully the box will return as it should.

I have attached a screenshot showing the issue.

One quick thing to try is to use the Reset to Default Layout command:

reset to default layout.png

This command resets the UI layout (how dialog boxes are positioned, etc) to the default.  It might help here.

Hi Jeff, that did not do it for me as it came back shortly after the reset.

Thinking back I am sure this all started after I used the reset to default layout function for the first time a few days ago.

Hi @Anonymous

Have you tried what @kshea9RNL8 suggested above? If not, could you try enlarging the box by dragging the bottom-right corner so that you can see the entire box?

<Edit>

Sorry I didn't read your previous post carefully and notice that you mentioned it cannot be resized. Just to check - can you resize the box if you move it from the original position?

Hi Masanobu,

I have not tried moving it, I will do the next time it happens but I defiantly think this has started happening since I used the reset to default layout function.

I have not used that reset function on my laptop and the box has not given me any trouble on that machine.

Hi Masanobu,

the move suggestion is a great help thanks, when I move the box it automatically resizes so I do not have to drop the tool and start again.

I don’t think it has happened since I moved the box so it might be related to the position of the box in relation to something else.
