Move a sketch to be coincident with another sketch

Hi-

Here is two sketches. The lighter yellow is the FRAME.

The darker yellow is the CAGE.

Bother were completed, and the drawing moved forward to other design elements.

I discovered that I need to lengthen the Frame 1". Which I did with no problem.

Now, I must move the Cage so the rear tip is in line with the tip of the Frame--shown by the two arrows.

I've been futzing about for a while and cannot figure out how to do this.

NOTE: there are many components attached to the Cage...may I assume all will "move" (find their correct places in the design) with the Cage after the cage is moved?

Thanx

So...anyone? Iss it possible to move the sketch to match the new position of the body/component?

Are you dimensioning your work?

What happens if you hit P for Project Geometry and project point from first sketch into second sketch and then apply a coincident constraint?

1) GREAT screen name! (I tend to scream and shout and use all sorts of language that could make a linebacker blush--but, I don't throw things).

2) Forgive me: what's Dimensioning? I mean, I probably am, but I'm not really with it with a lot of the correct terminology/vernacular.

Your suggestion seems do-able except it doesn't accomplish my intention--(I know, I didn't explain why I want to move the sketch).

I drew a sketch.

Proceeded with the project.

Much later, the section that is projected from that sketch needed to be moved an inch toward the rear end.

Now, any time I need to go back and do something pre-move, I have to contend with the moved section that has--by virtue of the timeline--been relocated to its original position (an inch toward the front.

At this point this is more of an inquiry to quench a thirst of the unknown. So, not a huge deal.

But thanx for your time/suggestions.
