Motion restricted altogether

I'm trying to create a design for a sofa bed and I went about creating the right leg with all the components that attach to it and creating the joints and setting the motion limits, etc. I mirrored the original to create the left leg and did the same joint configurations. Now I'm trying to link the two sides and doing so completely restricts all motion. I've even gone to the point of completely allowing the left side to freely rotate but that still didn't do anything and at the point I'm pretty lost as to why.

If I remove the left leg from the rigid group then it allows me to move the connecting beam with the right leg.

First time posting so please let me know if the file I've linked needs to be in another format or something.

Thank you.

You have one side of the frame assembled with Joints and for some reason you decided the same components on the other side could be a part of a Rigid Group.  They have to move along with the side you have the Joints on so a Rigid Group will not work.  Notice in the Screen Capture below the Rigid Groups I have suppressed.  I am not going to return your file due to the fact it is a F3Z file and I do not know if you know what to do with it.

Found a few moments this morning to add the required Joints to the opposite side in order to make your frame motion work.  I had to remove a lot of your Rigid Joints as they were interfering with the motion.  I understand why you are trying to use Rigid Joints but in some cases you are trying to use them in the wrong situation causing you all sorts of grief.

I have exported your finished assembly as a F3Z file since it has externally linked components.  In case you do not know how to open an F3Z file, I caution you since you could end up with a big mess.  I would create a new Folder in your database and Upload this model to it to keep it separate from your existing one.  F3Z file is attached.

I did a lot of work on your model, I would like a little feedback, comments or even an Accept Solution!
