Modifying skecth does not change solid

Hi,

I work with Fusion 360When I ceate a new Design and that I make an extrusion or a revoltion from the sketch if I modify the sketch the construction follows and modify too.

But whenerver I open an existing Design from format .stp, .CATPart, etc if I modify a solid from the sketch the modifications does not follow.

The difference being that when I make a solid it creates a Body AND a Revolve/Extrude ect. From what I understand it breaks the links between the sketch and the solid. Is there a way to keep the sketch and solid linked?

I also lose the Design History bar when opening a .stp.

Regards,

Steed

Hi,

 1. when you open a step import, the design history is not activated > you must do it.

2. In the absence of history, there is also no dependence between sketch and bodies.
