Modifying/Deleting portions of an existing 3D model (mesh)(.stl)

Hi all,

I am working on an assignment for school where I take an existing 3D model off thingiverse and have to print just a portion of it. I am trying to delete one of the figures in the model so I am left with just the zombie (see attached credit to kuanchen100). I am still fairly new to the software so any advice is apprectiated. I have tried converting the T mesh to a BRep which has allowed me to at least select seperate portions, but I can't seem to be able to delete any of it. Thanks for your help.

If all you want to do is to delete portions of the mesh, you should not convert it to BRep.  You can do all this in the Mesh workspace, directly on the Mesh data.  I have not had a chance to look at the model yet, but this should be relatively easy to do in the mesh workspace.

Note, you will need to turn on the mesh workspace first in the Preferences, under the "Preview" section:

yeah, @SaeedHamza - I was on vacation for two weeks, without a laptop or reliable internet...  I am back now, although buried in to-do items Smiley Happy

Anyway, here is a video showing the basic steps to clean up this mesh.  Although I got overzealous, and delete too many facets, and got rid of some of the zombie.  But, hopefully, you will get the idea of how to work with meshes in Fusion:
