Modeling a textured grip

I'm trying to model a grip that I have an STL file for so that I can do some useful modifications to it. The grip has some rotational pattern of triangles with what look like 60 degree angles. It looks like this:

I've tried to use both the coil command, and the sweep command (followed by a rotational pattern). The coil doesn't quite give me flat enough spikes, which is important because they will be hard to 3d print (and might be annoying to touch). But I can't figure out how to get the sweep command to do what I need. It seems the profile twists in ways that don't quite make a uniform pattern front to back, thusly:

In particular the prisms aren't the right shape:

Can someone help me understand the details I seem to be misunderstanding about sweeping a profile along a rotational path?

I've attached the STL and fusion file I'm using to model this grip

The "texture" you are looing for is a knurled surface. In the metal machining world there are special lathe tools available to create such textures. There a a good number of threads here on the frum that should show up in  a search for "knurled surface". Might be interesting to look at other techniques aside from what folks might provide here in this thread.

The solution I have attached requires fully dimensioned and constrained sketches!

I created two user parameters:

Hi! Another approach to consider is to use Geometric Pattern.

Many thanks!
