Modeled NPT tapped threads

I'm creating a model for 3D print. The customer has requested that a 1/4 in NPT tapped hole be modeled so he can directly install pipe fittings. I don't see an option for modeled NPT thread taps anywhere. Am I just overlooking it?

You are correct, modeled NPT Threads are not available.  You can use the method outlined in my video to achieve them.

It really seems like this should be added to the threading tool.

There's an archived thread nearly 10 years old. They clearly just WON'T do it; likely for some obscure developer-religion reason, or they're just not interested in US customers (where this is just a reality we are dealing with.)

Hey Mr. Hackney, not sure if you're still active on here, but I'm trying to do this and it WILL NOT let me join them.

Are there any plans to include NPT threads in fusion 360 at any point?

I hope so. This is ridiculous to pay this much for this software and we have to go outside of the software to find solutions. Really looking at moving on from Fusion with all the glitches and limitations I've been experiencing.

I just ran into this today, what a total let down. How on earth is this not possible. I saw a thread where they made internal NTP available, but it isn't in my software. This seems so obvious that I'm also starting to rethink wether or not this software is the correct one for me. If you can add the most common thread for basic american use, what else are you skipping.

I found the internal NPT thread within the hole feature instead of the thread feature. You cannot have the threads modelled but the thread details do come out in the drawings.

I am guessing the external thread has been left out due to the taper and the difficulty in making that within the thread feature... It would be great to have it added but at least we have internal NPT for now

Thank you, I wasn't selecting the taper thread. Duhhh. This saved me some hassle so thank you for sharing.
