How to isolate selected components of linked components

How to isolate selected components of linked components? The isolate option is missing in the context menu. see screenshot.

Greetings!!

You can use the option "Show/Hide" from the menu option after you select the component and do a right click or could you try to use the shortcut key "V" after selecting the component which you want to isolate.

Within settings (*preferences)-I think in "General" there's a tickbox where you have the choice to keep only the active component visible, which essentially does the same as isloate.

Just a few suggestion, isolate isn't my place of expertise, as I just have the body/component I'm working on only active at all times and then I change it when needs be.

1. I don't think Isolate works with multiple selections.
2. I'm pretty sure Linked components are read-only - (referenced froma other design

This can be done via File->export->Fd3->Drag and drop on comment

Also has the issue with physical appearances not moving across devices been resolved.

Is it my understanding that there is not an isolate for nested external components?

Correct, you cannot isolate subcomponents in linked components.

So, here's something weird:

It actually works, there's just not an Isolate option in the context menu for external subcomponents. I have a keyboard shortcut set up for isolate (for me it's Shift+I) and one for unisolate (Shift+Command+I) via the AnyShortcut add-in. I can isolate anything in the Browser this way, even if it's nested in an an external component.

The shift+I is great, but I fail to find a way to call this via my python script... would you have an idea n how to call that via script?
