Missing links - Change projected face reference in sketch to edge

Is it possible to change a projected face reference to an edge? I have accidentally picked a face previously, but I might as well have referenced a line in another sketch or the edge of a face. In the 'Manage lost projections' dialog I don't see this option.

If you project a face, the 'Manage lost projections' dialog will only allow you to relink a face, same goes for the edge, if you originally project an edge, the 'Manage lost projections' dialog will only allow you to choose an edge.

I kinda figured that's the case, bit of a shame there isn't an option to change the reference type if all you see is a line in perpendicular projections anyways. There's no way to correct mis-clicks later on.
