Mirroring extrusion on same component

Many times I have a component that models a board in piece of furnature.  I draw the profile out on a sketch plane and then extrude it.  I then want to model a tenon on each end of the board.  I go to one end, create a sketch plain, offset the original board profile and apply a radius to each corner.  At this point I would like to apply the same operations to the other end of the board.  Is there a way to mirror the extruded tenon from one end to the other end of the board?  So far the only solution I can see is to duplicate the same steps on the other end of the board.  Duplication of work like this invites errors to creep in.

You can use the mirror command to accomplish this. See the below Screencast for further detail.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Bingo! That is exactly as I was trying to do myself. The real trick was using the midplane to create the mirror plane and selecting the extrusion off of the time line. I had forgotten you could do that.
