Mirror tool problem

Hi everyone.

I have a problem with the Mirror tool.
When I mirror when I modify the original body it is not affecting the reflected object.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong.

You need to attach your model. Open in Fusion, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive.  Attach to a reply post.

Hi, I already exported it but the problem persists. Maybe I misunderstood? How do I attach it?

Hi,

When you mirror, how are you exactly doing it? Are you manipulating the timeline? Going back in time, making the

change and then moving the timeline forward? Is the component a true mirrored component or a Copied and

Pasted component? Or a Paste New Component? What happens when you force a Compute All? Does it update then?

Your file would really help.

Cheers

@maxduran

In a reply on this discussion thread, you may attach your file by dragging and dropping to this section, or you may browse to the file location and select it to attach (see the image, this is found below the reply window).  Good luck!

Blue sketch articles and problems go hand in hand.

You are using the Move (face) Tool, when you can just click drag the blue line and the extrude will update for you.

This way the sketch will always be the same as the body.

You have 4 extruded (new bodies - not joined?) bodies before the Mirror, all 1,2,3 are the same thickness 4 is a different thickness.

The Mirror works fine.  Maybe not selecting all bodies just one, is the problem.

A hole here is not good.

Use Create > Project tools when sketching to copy parts of an early sketch to the current sketch,

Fusion is expecting better accuracy than this.

Black and purple lines are better.

Might help...
