Merging Multiple texts into one.

Hi there,

I am new to Autodesk Fusion 360 and I was working on a text wherein some letters are separate from each other. I would like to merge it into one object so I can do extrusions and add objects to it.  Can anyone help me with this, please?

Thank you so much.

Can you be more specific? Are they Fusion's text objects? Or imported curves that look like text? If possible please share your .f3d file here.

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply.  The text I did is separated into 6 parts... The letters: H, app, y, B, ir, thday... I need them to be attached to each other so I could print them together into one.

Please see the attached print screen of my work.

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply.  It's all text objects. I separately made 6 parts of it... Letters H, app, y, B, ir, and irthday.

Seems like I couldn't merge them together into one object. Or I may not know how to do it.

Please find the attached printscreen.

You haven't enabled download so I can't download your file to edit it and since it has only a sketch it cannot be viewed in browser.

Nevertheless I made a similar text (with just a random font) to show you two options I can think of.

1. Extrude each text separately (But is it not enough? After all you wanted extrusion. You can merge resulting bodies). Then make a new sketch and Project resulting bodies:

2. Right click on every text while in sketch mode and select Explode Text. Keep in mind text will be converted to fixed lines and splines so you can NOT change font, size etc. afterwards (you can unfix and edit them as lines or splines, but don't hold your breath...):
