Mentor for a Robotics Team, how to configure:

We have about 60 Students, The school uses Inventor.  The (First) Robotics team wants to use Fusion 360.  I would like to give about 10 of them full edit rights and the rest view only rights?

Should I host the project on my personal educator/hobbyest account and give them all full edit rights or is there a proper way to do this.

I tried sharing with a friend and it works but am worried about controll with all the kids hitting it and learning cad on the real models.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting! Smiley Happy

I understand that you want to share your model to your team members.

If you want to give the full control you are able to invite them in your project by using their email.

Then they will received the invitation email and just choose the “access project”

Here is how to access to your project

One thing, If you share a project it's not just a single design. your team will be able to access all files.

For sure, they should download your files and it would be copy to their new project.

If i miss something, please let me know. I'll be glad to support you.

Many Thanks!

Thank you for the information. I am only allowed one project in mt fusion
360 so how would I allow them to only the robotics project and not my
personal stuff. Also how can I allow some students read only or view only
access so they do not inadvertently damage the design?

thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for replying .

If you want to control the level permissions in current status, I would say it is impossible.

A360 supply to 2 ways that Free account (Fusion) and Team Trial.

And I'm attaching regarding A360 information.

If you want to allow only your robotics project, I think you should create project separately between team and your own.Smiley Sad

If you need more help, please let me know

Many thanks!
