Mechanical Design Certificate questions

Hello!

I'm studying for my mechanical design certificate and I'm hoping someone will have an explanation for a few of the questions its marking wrong.

I was taught that a green line in the the form workspace indicates symmetry, and a lock icon on the sketch in the browser means that it is fully defined, however both the pre test and post test marked them wrong, but I can't find any information stating otherwise.

These 2 are completely stumping me. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Abbey

I haven't seen these tests - but I suspect there were some subtle qualifying words in the question that you missed.

Who made up this test?

Can you ask your instructor to join this discussion?

I'm on break from school right now, so I'm in between professors.

But this is the prep course for the Autodesk CAD for Mechanical Design Associate certification.

I think you are looking at the wrong questions for the red X.

What where the two questions preceding the X marks?

What was Figure D?

I took the test again, those 2 questions are now marked correct but other questions that were marked correct previously are now marked incorrect. Is there a support specifically for the certifications and learning pathways?

Thanks!

...so what was the other preceding question?

I'll make significant wager that you got that one wrong too.

You might be right, but can you explain? I thought B was a Plane, not a face which is why I didn't choose B.

I'm sorry about that, I'm thinking it might be time for a brain break. thank you!

You can’t create a sketch on a curved surface.
