Hello,
I am sorry if this topic have been solved or adressed already.
But I was thinking of the posibility for measuring distances and angles on a 3D model in fusion.
We install production lines for the food industry. And with so many components in a complete line, it would be very beneficial to just have a 3D model, that the technician can have on a phone or tablet, instead of all these paper drawings.
Also questions from welders and mechanics probably would be much less since they them selves can measure the distances they need straight from the model instead of comming to the office and asking for help.
Also big frames and framework in general, is not allways easy to get to a 2d paper space, since with all the hiddel line and lines in general, the views on a A3 or A2 usually just comes out as a black square. So to understand the geometry, I think using information from a 3d model would save time.
I have a dream that our mechanics and welders could use a 3d model from a tablet or phone instead of printing all these paper drawings.
