McMaster component comes as multipule bodies

I'm trying to make a custom adapter that has a 1/16" NTPF thread on one side, and with no tool to model external npt threads I figured I'd import a part from McMaster then cut and join it. But this single part imports with multiple bodies that wont join together.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Did you run a quality check on the imported geometry?

I know it's sloppy but I was just trying a couple things and just got stumped but the .f3d is now added.

Discovered the solution, I moved the extra bodies then used the align tool and they joined no problem after that.

Can you work with the Attached geometry?

There are some gaps you might want to remove...
