Please open my file and isolate the BIT FOLD OUT body in my Drill Index design. I'm puzzled as to why it shows up in the browser as one body, yet there is a black line running down the middle of it and the two faces on top can be selected individually. I've put out the effort, I'm just not getting anywhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Somewhere along the line, you made the two top faces different heights.  Simply Extrude one to match the other.  Model attached.

Edit:  Extrusion 67 in the timeline caused it.  You did not match heights, Extrude to Object will correct it.

You were right of course. I suspect I clicked on the target destination rather than using "to object". It apparently makes a difference. The extruded face was shy of the target face by "a blonde one" as a well known YouTuber would say. Just enough to screw up the works. Thanks again. Clicked on Accept Solution (I hope I did it right this time).
