Material Cost Assignment for Cost/Benefit Analysis

I am a guest lecturer for a high school CAD/CAM class as well as a new user to Fusion 360 and have a few questions.  

Q1-Q2: Is there a way to assign cost to a material?  If yes, then what are the steps?

Q3: Is there a reporting mechanism which will list all of the component properties of the design along with costs?  Something like an expanded Bill of Materials? If yes, then what are the steps to generate the report?

I have been researching the Properties fields but have not been able to find method/s to solve the above questions.

There is no ability for cost that I am aware of.

Try this addin for a BOM , you could add a cost colum in excel and go from there.
