Manual move components does not work with some components

Hello,

While I was trying to learn about linkages and movement analysis, I came across a strange issue.

I have made an assembly to simulate the movement of some parts driven by a motor.

If I make the assembly using only parts I have modeled, the linkages are OK, and I can manually move/drag the components to simulate the assembly movement: everything is fine. See file "Mecanisme OK.f3z".

When I use an imported component (not modeled by me) instead of one of the components of the previous assembly, I cannot move/drag the components manually: the movement is stuck. I cannot understand why, because all the linkages are made the same way in both assemblies... See file "Mecanisme NOK.f3z".

The only assumption I can make, is that there is something wrong with using imported parts as components in an assembly for linkages. Is that so? And if so, why?

Thanks for your help!

You mention some Fusion 360 F3Z files as if they were suppose to be attached, they are not.  Please try again.

Hello jhackney1972,

Thanks for replying. I thought I had attached them, well, I must have forgotten. Sorry!

I have uploaded now both files referred to by my original message.
