Making point on a curve surface?

Hello. Is there easy way to make sketch point on a curve surface? I know i can use project to surface option but it takes some time, and if i want to move point then i have to project it again. This is not fast. Is this possible to make point on a curve surface just by one left click?

Is there way to make sketch tools snaps into surface coordinates? Or do i have to make tangent plane and projecting every time?

Sorry for my poor english and thanks.

There is no easy, single click way to do it.

You can put a plane out in front of it, sketch a point on that plane, and project that point onto the curved surface.

You can slice through it with a plane, sketch on that plane, project/intersect the curved surface, and put a point on the resulting curve.

If you made it with a simple revolve, you can put a point in the original sketch.

There are probably lots of other, similar ways, but none of them are single-click easy. And no, there isn't any snapping to a surface except where points already exist on that surface.

Sad. Such possibility would speed up workflow. Thanks.

You can look at any of the various Construct>Point at... options, but most of them will still require some setup so that you would be able to get the point where you want it.

If you can describe WHY you want a point on a curved surface, perhaps we might be able to tell you how to achieve the desired result in a more efficient manner.

I am afraid my english is not enough to explain.

I use fusion just for a few days, so maybe i misuderstand some workflow.

What if i want to push in this part of the sphere? I make sketch, then i split face, right? So if i want to get correct result i have to sketch straigh to the surface.

But i can only see the final result then i use split face tool, so it is not easy to get correct result. It would be much easier to control final result if i could make sketch points straight to the sphere surface.
