Before engaging in such an activity you might want to try a few simpler things just to make sure you understand how to organize models and assemblies in Fusion 360.

 

I would also not follow the practices shown in the video. He crams everything into an overly complicated sketch (mistake) then extrudes a solid body. Then he converts the body into a component, which is also a bad idea.

 

This is a problem with a lot of the Fusion 360 tutorials.
