make a object transparent along a plane

Im trying to make a mold in this cylinder, I started with the smaller hole in the center but I don't know how to make only half of my drawing clear so I can see only half of the cylinder and work with the inside along the axis.

While in a model, you can use Sectional Analysis to slice a model using any plane.  While in a model sketch you can used Slice to slice the model to the sketch plane.
