Make 2 sides of a rectangle follow 2 different cylinders/edges

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out how I can make one side of a rectangle follow a cylindrical object, but at the same time, make the opposite side of the rectangle follow the shape of another cylindrical object/edge.

Please see attached screenshots. I've highligted the two faces on each screenshot, to demonstrate what faces I'd like to follow.

I've tried the emboss tool, which works fairly well, except when I extrude the rectangle from the cylinder, it widens the rectangle at one side. The rectangle needs to stay at 1mm width in both ends that follow the contour of the cylinders.

Hope it makes sense. 🙂

I hope my interpretation is correct.  I left the rectangle exactly where is was and the width the same.  You did not specify the extruded thickness but I did 1mm.  I then use two surfaces, matching the two indicated diameters, to shape the outside and inside faces of the extruded rectangle.  The screen capture is the top view to show the applied radii.  Model is attached.

A simple extrude/to object plus a split body creates a rectangular shape with the contours of the two cylinders:

If they aren't in the correct position, then use a joint with offsets.

@etfrench Thank you so much, that's exactly what I wanted.

To everyone else who contributed to the solutions, thank you as well!
