Hello!

 

I am a teacher and have start with Fusion 360 on Mac. I wonder if the students can send there files to me.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Correct me if i misunderstood your question.

 

If you are asking about opening fusion files created on windows, later trying to open the same file on mac. then, you are good to go.

 

Fusion 360 usually updates automatically on both OS, so the PC and the mac should run the same file versions.

Hi Torbern,

 

Actually thanks to A360 and the cloud there is no silly need for students to send you files for you to open.

 

Instead students can share the project with you so you can open it on your side, see and open their designs, leave comments

or even modify the design and save it right into their file.

 

While the cloud approach has its problems (network outages) the ability to share access to designs is drastic improvement in my class room

and makes design review and feedback a lot better without the annoying managing overhead of sending files via emails.

 

Do you know how to invite people to projects?
