Lost All Projects After Update

I don't "think" I have another account, but after starting Fusion360 today, I was asked to login (which usually never happen). I did (after resetting my password, as I was not sure which one it was).

It looks like it's a new account, while I have been working for months on a project. Also, it shows a trial account, when I have been opting for "Startup" a couple of months ago.

It's strange, as I am pretty sure to NOT have another account, but I have been proved wrong more than once....

Help, please, as I need to find my project back and continue working on it.
Thanks in advance,

Bernard

Hey Bernard,

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. If you created a new account by accident, you would have seen a dialog that reads something like "creating Autodesk Account.... " and the sign in process would have been a bit longer than usual. Do you recall this happening?

I have a suggestion that may let us know if you are working with multiple accounts on the same computer. Browse to the below directories on your system.

Windows OS
C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\Appdata\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\
Mac OS
Macintosh HD/Users/<LOGIN>/LIbrary/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/

For each account you are working with, you will see a directory with a custom ID. This ID is specific to each account log in. If you see more than one ID on your system, then more than one user account has logged in and used Fusion 360 on that computer.

If possible, can you gather any .log files located in this directory and post them here? They will contain some information that will help us to decipher what is happening. If you have any questions, please let us know. I look forward to your reply.

Thanks,

Hi  "

I found 2 log files there. One is pretty old, but I attach them both.

BTW, it looks like my files are in ...\Autodesk Fusion 360\HA37NFUEJ9D3\W.login\F, but I can't open them locally.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you Nathan,

but to which one of "me"  Woman LOL did you sent the PM? (looks like there are many "me").
I am not finding any with my current login, from which I post this message.

If you can, sending to my email might be better.
Thanks for your help!

At this point, there is nothing left to hide. Everything is in the open!  🙂

I noticed there were two Autodesk ID's I could identify based upon the screenshots.

The usernames are

Can you try signing out and into Fusion 360 with each of the Autodesk ID's above?

I suspect one of them contains the data you are after. If you have difficulty logging into Fusion 360, you can use Forgot your Password command to get a new password.

I hope this helps! If you have any difficulties logging in, please let us know.

Thanks,

yes, it worked, thanks! Is there a way to remove the wrong account now, to avoid future confusion?

Thanks very much, again. Glad to have recovered my project.

Take care,

Bernard
