Loft twisting inputs.

My last loft appears to be twisting the edges, I am not sure how to remedy.  I believe it is just how the edges are identified/ numbered, but how do I fix this.  Screen Shot is the "twist"

Have you tried Surface workspace lofts?  You may need to add more rails to get all four sides correct.

Essentially, you added a rail at each change in vertices?  I havent tried this, I'll give it a shot.

Actually you don't need any more sketch rails.  Start by surface lofting the two sides.  Use the edges of those as rails for the top and bottom lofts.

I tried, either the loft would still rotate, or connection rails weren't intersecting the surface to loft.  I tried to change the design slightly, but still I can not get what you described to work.  The last pic is a screen shot of where I am at

Careful selection of the rails seems to work:
