Loft on object

I am probably going about this the wrong way.But need some help with the loft.

I am trying to replace the face of the object with the above loft and wish the loft to touch the top perimeter of the object all the way around, which is 1mm in height. When I draw the profiles, I can snap them to the edge of the object, but the loft doesn't cleanly adhear to the object when made.

Resulting in the face not being able to be replaced.

Hi Tony,

To achieve the result you desire, it would be better if you create a loft surface and use it to cut an extruded body.  Here are the steps:

1. Surface Loft: Go to Patch Workspace, invoke the Loft command and select the curves in Sketch 3, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9.  This creates a sheet/surface body.

2. Extrude: In the Model Workspace, create a solid extrusion using the top face of Body1 -> the face you want to replace.  Make sure the extrude distance is such that it clears the loft surface created above.

3. SplitBody: In the Model workspace,  under the Modify dropdown, select the SplitBody command, select the extruded body from step 2 as Body to Split and the loft surface as Splitting tool.  This will split the extruded body into two pieces. Delete the one you dont need.

You would want to change some of the sketches.  They are not resulting in a clean split of the body to get the result you need.  For eg., the curve in Sketch6 is not constructed properly to give you the desired result.
