loft curve

Hi guys, i have an loft question. I'm trying to replicate this curve on the photo.

I have to use a loft function to complete my shape.

What I've tried using two rectangles let's say they are 100x20mm. On the second rectangle I use a 3d sketch to make a curve, but then my sketch isn't recognized as a face.

Can someone share their own opinion on how they would  draw this ?

Hi,

Please show pictures with complementary hand sketches of what you want to end up with and share the file.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the post.

I need this curve, I have to use profiles because I want lofted shape. My shape won't be square like in real life.

As you can see it's hollow. I will use profile sketches and loft function to get the shape, then i will shell it. But I  dont know how to create the curve.

-Forget about the tapered shape.

-I cant cut the shape from a block, because I need the lofted shape that will transition into a pipe at the end. Lofted shape- so fluid flows nicely.

I did play with loft setting curvature and tangent,  i get the clearance, it ends up rounded. but I cant replicate this factory curve. Now  I've cutted the part in two, have to figure out how to make some kind of click clack joint. I plan to 3d print it in 2 parts.

My first part failed the geometry was a bit to aggressive.

It is unclear who you are replying to. Please do not use the reply at the very bottom of the thread, but reply to a specific post.
