Loft between 2 circles on xz and yz planes using rails

Hi

I am trying to loft between 2 circles one on xz and one on yz planes using rails. I get an error saying the selected rail does not touch all the profiles. My rail sketch is on the xy plane and when editing this sketch the other 2 sketches are greyed out so I cannot project the circles on to my rail sketch to join the rail sketch to the circles. Any help greatly apreciated!

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

a few thoughts-

-attaching your model conveys more information for those helping.  at least show the timeline and the browser if you can't do that (you can export a .f3d file from the "file" menu and attach to post)

-are you using project intersect on the circles?

-this loft might be better as a center line loft instead of using multiple rails (the "center line" doesn't have to be in the center, it could still be one of your rails.

-probably be even better to use a sweep instead of a loft.
