lock canvas?

Is there a way to import a jpeg image and lock it from moving? I'm trying to use a photo of a home interior and position my Fusion model to match the perspective of the image. My image was set to the xy plane.

You have to try pretty hard to get the canvas to move.  Is there an issue your having with the canvas moving inadvertently?

The canvas is locked to the model, and moves with the model as it should and the way most people would want it to do. What I was hoping to do is rotate the model independently to fit a perspective 2D image. I don't think it's possible

I guess you could use a decal on the face of a body instead.  it would reposition with moves of the body.  a bit tedious though.

That should work. The decal image would stay fixed to its body while I move the designed object into position.
