I have a question on how to do something. I have an example I will try to explain.

I am making a fan cover for a computer thats 120mm x 120mm. I want to place polygons all over the cover. I would like to link all of those polygons to 1 polygon so that if and when I want to make changes to that polygon it will then effect them all. Some examples of the changes I would want to make are maybe its size, sides, add chamfer and such. Next is there a way to make this cross into other projects. Say I make a 140mm x 140mm cover. I would then add some more of the polygons. But maybe change some of its settings.

I have found that I can make 1 in a file and then just drag it into another file and it will update. However it doesnt change the cover where it has been extruded around it.

Fusion 360 is a solid modeling application, not per-se a polygon modeler. Perhaps your terminology is a little off 😉

No problem. If you can create a screenshot, share your model or post a screencast than this will probably much better convey the problem and lead to a quicker resolution.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for asking about this in the Forum.

As @TrippyLighting suggested, could you may share a screencast with us.

That would be very helpful.

Thanks,
