The productivity update 2026.1.22 x86_64 has issue that reduces productivity .

1) We need a way to turn off the opening dialog  that now want to know what we want to do. You can dismiss it simply by clicking elsewhere but we should be able to turn it off.

2) When creating a drawing now we have an extra step in selection the Base Document to Template to get the custom title blocks. Did someone request this? Can we have the option of setting it to Template always instead of having to push the Template button.

Hello @rcroeder ,

I am checking with team on item 1. for the drawings item you mentioned, when you select base document as template, I see the template is already pre selected, but you have to everytime select template as base document. I think there seems to be some improvement is needed here. I will create an internal ticket for the issue here for drawings

Thanks!

Hi there,

For point 1, currently, there isn't an ption to disable theopening Prompt Ui (What do you want to Design?). As you have noted the first time the pop up comes up when Fusion starts, it can be dismmissed by clicking anywhere outside the prompt. You can open your default document (as set in your preferences) by using the shortcut keys CTRL+N for Windows and CMD+N for Mac bypassing the prompt UI. And if you want to open your preferred document when the prompt UI is open, simple press enter and it will open as the Prompt is pre-selected with your defaults.

This new stuff if becoming a major headache. HOW DO I TURN IT OFF.

Starting a new model. Now it has to select a part, assembly, or hybrid design. It appears that I must choose hybrid. Do you actually ever use this stuff on a day to day building projects?
