Large Assembly won't open

Okay, this is my 3rd time trying to open it so I'm not sure what's going on.

I have this assembly which has its sub-assemblies reference linked. Total components is around 1000+ parts. I've waited and waited and somehow it's not opening the assembly. And no, I can't share the model but I don't understand why it can take so long to open an assembly which "technically" should be cached on the system. I understand if it's slow to open for models that hasn't been opened for 15 days, but this is an active-working file. Why does it take so long (final time, 10 mins to open the assembly)?

Is this issue still ongoing? Are you able to open a previous version of the design?

How to open a previously saved version of a Fusion 360 design

It sounds like it may be downloading the design before opening. If you first go to the work offline mode, do you see the design in your data panel? If so, then it is locally cached.

Work in the Offline Mode

Try opening it while in offline mode. Does this cause any change in opening times?

It managed to open, it just took much longer then expected and if I compared to other CAD software (SolidEdge) this opens way too slow.

And yes, I did see the design in data panel when I went to offline mode.

I timed the time it took to open and it's as follow:

Offline - 3 minutes

Online - 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

So it seems because of the size of the assembly (1000+ components), it took a long time to open it. I hope this can be improved in the future.
