Keyshot plugin - not importing materials.

Hello, 

i have a problem with keyshot plugin (i think it is a problem :P) 

When i want to export my scene to Keyshot everything works fine except materials. I mean materials used for work in Fusion shows in Keyshot but they are just standard grey materials. In plugin description i've read that it should import materials. Is it possible to fix it somehow?

Hi @Anonymous

You are partly correct.  The Keyshot plug in should bring in RGB color information for the bodies but not the actual materials.

If you are not seeing colors that represent the materials that you assigned to your model then there is something wrong.

What version of Keyshot are you using? 

Can you show a screen shot of Fusion and the result in Keyshot.

The plug in is created by Keyshot, but if we have changed something on our side it may be blocking this ability in the plugin.

Thanks  for reply, i was using latest demo version from autodesk app center, and I am using educational version of Fusion 360. I was using wood materials and that could be a problem, but i replaced them with custom keyshot materials just moving them on exported materials from scene and it works fine. I tested other materials and keyshot get them right (at least colors like you said).

That makes sense.  Materials like wood that are generated purely by texture maps will not have an underlying color.
