Keep T-Spline Faces in Surface Workspace

Is there a way to retain t-spline edges and faces when going from the Forms to the Surface workspace? I'd like to continue editing the individual faces using surface tools.

Forms Workspace:

"Finish Form" and back to Surface - no more faces 😞

1..do not click finish try convert to b-rep in the utilities

2. In the keep edges select the edges you wanna retain
